BaabSport connects players with sports facilities, pickup games, teams, tournaments, and secure payment tools. The mobile app is available on iOS and Android, and public field and platform information is available at baabsport.com.
Download BaabSport from the App Store or Google Play, then sign up using your phone number, Google account, or Apple ID. You must be at least 18 years old and provide the required profile information to complete registration. Account contact verification may be required for certain features.
Creating an account and browsing available content is free. Charges apply only when you confirm a paid action, such as joining a paid match, booking a field, or entering a paid event. The app shows the current field price, service fee, tax, credits, and total before confirmation; rates can vary by transaction.
BaabSport currently supports Football (soccer), Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, American Football, and Pickleball. You can filter games and fields by sport type to find exactly what you're looking for.
We use technical and organizational safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Stripe processes card payments, and BaabSport does not store your full card number. No online service can promise absolute security, so review the Privacy Policy for the data we collect, how it is used, and your choices.
Open the app and browse available games in Explore using the filters currently shown, such as sport, date, and location. Open a match to review its field, time, participants, price, and rules; for a paid match, complete Join & Pay and wait for the confirmed result before treating your spot as secured.
Browse the Explore area and use the available sport, date, and location filters. Match details and public profile information, such as a player's selected sport position, can provide context. BaabSport does not currently assign a universal peer skill score or guarantee algorithmic matchmaking.
Profiles may show supported activity and reliability information such as completed matches, participation, cancellations, no-shows, fair-play score, MVP history, and sport-specific positions. BaabSport does not currently publish a universal five-star peer skill rating.
When the match and your access allow it, you can view confirmed participants and available public profile details such as display name, photo, and sport position. What appears depends on match status, permissions, and each user's public profile settings.
If you need to leave early, notify the Captain or participants as soon as possible through the match chat and follow the facility's safety rules. Formal cancellations and no-shows can affect the activity and reliability metrics described in the app; leaving a match does not create an automatic refund.
Use BaabSport's share links and in-app invite actions for supported matches, teams, and communities. Referral credits are not automatic; a reward applies only when an active offer is shown in the app together with its eligibility and terms.
Bring appropriate footwear (cleats for grass, indoor shoes for turf), shin guards, and water. Some facilities provide balls and pinnies, but check the match details. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm up and meet your teammates.
A Captain is a player who organizes matches. Captains select the field, set the date and time, determine the format, manage the roster, and communicate important match information to players.
Eligible players can organize matches. Share-mode access and weekly creation limits depend on completed match history, reliability metrics, and account standing.
Tap the '+' button and follow the booking steps: select a venue and field, choose your sport type, set the duration, pick a format (e.g. 5v5, 7v7, 11v11), select the date and time slot, set match visibility (public or private), and add optional notes. You'll see the full price breakdown before confirming.
Use the invite tools and monitor the match status shown in the app. An underfilled Share match is automatically cancelled when it enters the 48-hour window without a full roster, and its payments are handled under the displayed underfill policy. Classic matches and captain obligations follow the terms shown before confirmation.
Use the supported match format, visibility, notes, and invite controls to communicate what the match needs. The current creation flow does not promise minimum or maximum skill-rating gates, so include any important expectations clearly in the match details.
Open My Team to view members and, when your role allows it, manage invitations, member roles, squad selections, tactics, and formations. Members without management permission can still view the team surfaces made available to them.
The Captain's payment responsibility depends on the selected payment mode. Before confirmation, the app shows the authorization or charge, service fee, and applicable cancellation terms. Other players pay when they join, and the Captain's final charge or refund follows the mode and timing policy displayed in the app.
A Team Challenge is a match between two organized teams. One team creates the challenge by selecting a venue, field, sport, format (e.g. 5v5, 7v7), and proposed date. The challenge can be 'Open' (any team can accept) or 'Direct' (sent to a specific team). The flow is: Waiting for Opponent, Matched, Date Set, Ready, then Confirmed.
Go to Team Challenges and follow the creation flow to choose the teams, challenge type, sport, venue, field, and scheduling details supported by the app. Any eligibility, payment, credit, or confirmation requirement is shown in the current flow before you commit; do not rely on a fixed fee published outside checkout.
When your team receives a Direct challenge or you find an Open challenge, you'll see an 'Accept Challenge' button with the cost per player. Tapping it accepts the challenge on behalf of your team and moves the status to 'Matched.' If you're not interested, simply ignore it.
After a challenge is matched, either team can propose a different date. You'll see 'Accept Date' and 'Change Date' buttons. Once both teams agree on a date, the status moves to 'Date Confirmed' and players can start committing.
After the date is confirmed, each player on both teams must 'Commit' to participate. Committing places a credit hold on your wallet for your share of the field cost plus service fee. You can see each team's commitment progress (e.g. '3/5 players committed'). Once all required players on both teams commit, the challenge is automatically confirmed and holds are captured as payment. You can 'Uncommit' before confirmation to release your hold.
Only the captain who created the challenge can cancel it, and only before it reaches 'Confirmed' status. When cancelled, all credit holds are automatically released back to players' wallets with no penalties. Once a challenge is confirmed (all players committed), it cannot be cancelled through the challenge system.
Visit our Partners page and complete the application form. Provide details about your facility including location, field types, amenities, and availability. Our partnership team will review the application and contact you about onboarding if approved.
The field-owner workspace brings field availability, online and offline reservations, staff access, staff schedules, customer records, and separate online/offline revenue views into one operational panel. App bookings and Stripe-connected transfers remain clearly separated from a facility's own offline revenue.
You set your own hourly rates for different field types and time slots. Completed app bookings use the commission rate documented for your complex, including any written time-limited promotion. Eligible match settlements are transferred through Stripe Connect, and transfer and bank payout status is available in the partner dashboard.
The field-owner panel supports field availability, closure and maintenance blocks, online and offline reservations, and management across the fields in an owned complex. Available controls depend on the facility setup and the user's assigned role.
For operational help, contact partner support through the available panel or contact channels. Use the reporting tools for player conduct, facility, or booking incidents. Response times vary based on urgency and issue type.
No dedicated BaabSport hardware is required for the standard partner workflow. Partners need a supported browser, reliable internet access, accurate facility information, and an operational process for keeping availability and reservations current.
BaabSport supports eligible major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Apple Pay or Google Pay may also be offered when the device, platform, region, and current checkout support them. Saved payment methods can be used where that option is available.
The selected payment mode determines how the field cost is authorized or divided among participants. Before confirmation, checkout shows the current base amount, service fee, tax, credits, and total. Fees are configuration-driven and should not be assumed from an older fixed percentage.
Baab Credits are stored in your in-app wallet and can be applied where the checkout supports credits. Purchased top-up credits do not expire. Promotional, referral, welcome-bonus, and other offer-based credits may carry an expiration date under the applicable offer terms.
Open Wallet and use the top-up action. Enter an amount from $5 to $100 and complete one of the payment methods offered by the current device and checkout. A balance is available only after the payment and wallet transaction complete successfully; current daily, weekly, and balance limits still apply.
Stripe processes card payments, and BaabSport does not store your full card number on its servers. We use safeguards for data in transit and for the systems we operate; review the Privacy Policy for the complete description rather than treating any online system as risk-free.
Navigate to your Wallet to see all transactions. Use the filter tabs â All, Paid, Refunded, Credits, and Holds â to find specific entries. Each transaction shows the amount, date, and type. Active holds display the match or tournament name with an expiry date.
A failed payment does not confirm paid participation or a booking. Follow the error and retry options shown in checkout, update the payment method when needed, and verify that the app shows a confirmed result before treating the spot or reservation as secured.
For supported team-challenge or tournament flows, a credit hold can reserve wallet value without immediately spending it. Available balance excludes active holds; a hold is captured when the relevant event is confirmed or released when the applicable flow is cancelled. The current limits are $100 per match and $200 across active holds.
The current wallet balance limit is $200. Each top-up must be between $5 and $100, with current cumulative limits of $200 per day and $500 per week. Credit holds are limited to $100 per match and $200 across active holds. The app and checkout remain authoritative if limits change.
Cancellation outcomes depend on timing and match type. For Classic player participation, cancelling at least 24 hours before kickoff is eligible for the configured refund path, while a later cancellation is not. For Share participation, at least 72 hours uses the card-refund path, 48 to 72 hours uses credits, and under 48 hours receives no refund. Cancellation and no-show activity can affect reliability metrics.
Open the match from your activity or match list and use the available Leave action. Review the confirmation sheet carefully: it shows the applicable payment result and metric impact for the current match and timing before you confirm.
The app evaluates the match mode, timing, participant count, and payment state before a Captain cancellation. Affected players are notified, and eligible authorizations, card payments, or credits are handled under the displayed cancellation decision. The Captain's reliability may be affected, and some late cancellations require support.
Follow the facility and match updates shown in the app. A facility, authorized operator, or eligible Captain must formally cancel or update the match; weather alone does not create an automatic refund promise. The resulting hold, refund, or credit treatment is shown by the applicable cancellation flow.
After BaabSport completes an eligible refund or releases a hold, card timing depends on Stripe, the card network, and your bank and may take several business days. Credit adjustments appear after the corresponding backend operation completes. Contact support if the app shows a completed refund but it remains missing.
Do not play if conditions appear unsafe. Document the issue when it is safe to do so and contact support promptly with the field, match, time, and relevant evidence. BaabSport reviews the available information; any refund or operational action depends on the facts and applicable policy.
When a player cancels close to match time, their spot may become available at a 20% discount. Look for the '20% OFF' badge when browsing available matches. This helps fill the spot quickly and gives you a great deal on a last-minute game.
Tournaments are organized competitions whose format, schedule, eligibility, entry fee, and rules are configured for that event. Team registration and contribution collection occur through the supported tournament flow. Review the tournament detail before committing because not every event has the same format or prizes.
Only the team captain can register for a tournament. Go to the Tournaments tab, select a tournament, and tap 'Register Team.' Team members then contribute to the entry fee through progressive payment collection â each player pays their share, and you can track collection progress in the tournament detail screen. A service fee is added on top of each contribution. Registration becomes active once the required amount is fully collected.
Currently, tournament registration is team-based only. You need to be part of a team and your captain registers the team. If you're looking for a team, use the team discovery feature to find and join teams in your area.
Tournament withdrawal and refund policies vary by tournament and are set by the organizer. Check the specific tournament rules before registering. Contact tournament support for any withdrawal requests.
Tournament organizers record results and update the competition data available in the tournament area. Standings, brackets, schedules, and notifications appear when supported and after the relevant organizer actions; updates are not guaranteed to be instantaneous.
Not every tournament includes a prize. If a tournament offers prizes or awards, the organizer must list the applicable details and conditions in the tournament information; do not assume a cash, credit, merchandise, or entry reward unless it is explicitly shown.
Go to Profile > Edit Profile to update your name, photo, city, state, ZIP code, preferred position, and other details. Some changes (like phone number or email) may require re-verification.
Yes. Open your profile and use Change Phone, then verify the new number with the required code. This updates the phone identity on the same account; confirm the completed result before signing out or relying on the new number.
Open Edit Profile and use the available contact-account connection action when an email or social provider needs to be connected. Follow the Google or Apple authentication flow shown on your device. Available providers depend on your platform and current account state.
Use the in-app account deletion flow and review its confirmation before proceeding. Access is removed through that lifecycle, while limited records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or safety purposes as described in the Terms and Privacy Policy. Completed deletion cannot be undone.
On the user's profile, open the menu and select Report, then choose a reason and provide useful context. You can follow supported cases in My Reports. BaabSport evaluates reports using the information available; any restriction or enforcement action depends on the review and severity.
Yes. From the user's profile menu, select Block. Blocking limits direct messages, follows, and profile discovery between the accounts. It does not guarantee that both people can never appear at the same public event, venue, team, or community, so use reporting and support tools for safety concerns.
Use the notification settings available from the profile area to manage supported push categories, and use your device's BaabSport notification settings for system-level permission. The exact controls shown can vary by app version and platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a BaabSport account. We do not offer an account flow for minors or parental-consent registration.
Try closing and reopening the app, checking your connection, installing the latest BaabSport version, and restarting the device. If the issue continues, contact support with your app version, device model, and the steps that reproduce it.
Check the notification controls available in BaabSport's profile area and the BaabSport permission in your device settings. Also review Focus or Do Not Disturb settings and background or battery restrictions. If alerts still fail, contact support with the affected notification type.
BaabSport requests permissions in context: location for nearby fields and matches, camera or photos for images, contacts for supported invite flows, and notifications for alerts. You control these permissions in device settings, but denying one can limit the feature that depends on it. See the Privacy Policy for data-use details.
Use the same sign-in method connected to your account. For phone sign-in, enter your number and complete the verification-code flow; for Google or Apple, choose the corresponding provider. Player accounts do not rely on a general in-app password reset. Contact support if you still cannot access the account.
Accounts may be restricted for Terms violations, payment risk, reported conduct, or security concerns. Review any notice available in the app or email, then contact support with your username and relevant context if you need clarification or want to request a review.
In-app: Go to Messages > Support and create a new ticket by selecting a category (Payment, Account, Match Issue, Technical, or Other). Email: support@baabsport.com. Response times vary based on the type and urgency of the request. Include your username and relevant details in all communications.
Yes. Visit baabsport.com to browse fields, view locations, learn about the platform, and access FAQs. For full account features, download the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
