This page explains how to delete your Baab Sport account and what happens to your data. It applies to the Baab Sport mobile app, published by Baab Sport LLC.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open the Baab Sport app and sign in.
- Open the profile menu and scroll to the "Delete Account" option.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
- For your security, you may be asked to verify your identity again with a one-time code (OTP) sent to your registered phone number. This must be completed within a few minutes.
- Once confirmed, your deletion request is submitted immediately.
Option 2 — If you can no longer access the app
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us at privacy@baabsport.com from the email address or phone number associated with your account, and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request. You can also write to us at:

What happens when you delete your account
When you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day restore period. During this time your account is deactivated and you are signed out on all devices. You can cancel the deletion and restore your account by signing back in within those 30 days. After 30 days, the deletion is finalized and cannot be undone.
What we remove
After the 30-day restore period, the personal information in your account is removed or anonymized, including your name, email address, phone number, username, profile photo, and address details. Your active sessions are ended and your notification devices are deactivated right away when you request deletion.
What stays visible to others
To keep other members' conversations, matches, teams, and leaderboards intact, content you shared with other people — such as chat messages and match, team, or group participation — remains, but it is no longer linked to your name or profile. Other members can no longer view your profile or contact you.
What we keep, and why
Some records are kept after your account is deleted, for the limited legal and operational reasons described in our Privacy Policy:
- Payment and transaction records (bookings, charges, refunds, invoices, and in-app credit and wallet history) are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. These are kept de-identified from your profile.
- Safety and moderation records — including reports made about you or by you, the related message evidence, and block records — may be retained where necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our rules, prevent banned users from returning, and comply with legal obligations. We keep only what is necessary, for a limited time, with restricted access.
- A minimal record of your deletion request, for security and accountability.
Card details are held by our payment processor (Stripe), not in the app; only non-sensitive references such as the card brand and last four digits are kept for the records above.
Your rights
Depending on your U.S. state, privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the right to request deletion. We honor these rights for your personal data, while retaining the limited records the law allows us to keep for tax, dispute-resolution, safety, and legal-claim purposes.
